2024 The mansard house - The Cornish Unit is a type of non-standard construction house built from pre-cast reinforced concrete (PRC). Over 30,000 of these houses were built from 1946 – 1960s in response to the post-WWII housing shortage. There are two different construction types: Type I and Type II.
